The Vac Operation Coordinator is responsible to oversee and coordinate the activities of the Vac Services provided by BMEI. It is their responsibility to ensure that they and all those under them follow Black & McDonald Policies and Procedures and adhere to the Black & McDonald Safety Program. This includes oversight of the Superintendents, Operators, Laborers, Equipment (Vac Trucks, & Mini Dumps), Tooling (assigned to each truck), and various show up areas related to their assigned jobs. They will be responsible for maintaining client relations, this includes daily and weekly communication and/or visits to clients in all areas we work.

Monday through Friday 7:00 am through 4:00 pm.

  • Oversee and supervise trade leadership to ensure all work is completed in accordance to client specifications
  • Assist and support trade leadership as required to establish appropriate work methods to meet client requirements.
  • Oversee the requisition of materials and equipment
  • Oversee and ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and submitted on-time to ensure accurate billings
  • Maintain ongoing relationship with customers and follow-up on any related issues and assist to resolve
  • Support sales and project team with client estimates and proposal submissions as required
  • Streamline work group and recommend measures to improve productivity
  • Train or arrange for training of all Vac workers.
  • Ensure that all Vac employees adhere to Black & McDonald’s hours worked policy.
  • Participate in the rotating after hour on-call services with superintendents.
  • Ensure standards for safe working conditions are enforced and strictly adhered to
  • Weekly equipment and tool inspections
  • Ensure that time on timecards is completed with the actual time on job.
  • Review weekly with project manager to ensure work is on track or adjustments are needed.
