The Electrical Project Engineer position is based in Bathurst, NB and will report to the General Manager.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing conceptual and detailed designs of electrical power distribution equipment
  • Engineering and design of electrical power systems
  • Performing and reviewing electrical power system studies as per IEEE standards
  • Managing project schedules, materials and resources for various types of engineering or site work projects
  • Efficient and detail oriented

  • · Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering of electrical power and control systems is considered an asset.



Degree or Diploma in



Knowledge and understanding of:

  • Engineering of electrical equipment and studies of electrical distribution systems
  • Collaborate well with customers, suppliers and team members
  • Quality controls standard and procedures
  • Industrial and electrical safety
  • Research and solve problems

Proficient with the following software and technology, for the purpose of coordinating, reviewing, and coaching others and occasional use if necessary,:

  • MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • AutoCAD Electrical
