Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with deep expertise in Power BI to implement data-driven initiatives. The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders across various departments to understand business needs, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliver actionable insights through advanced Power BI dashboards and reports. This role requires strong analytical abilities, business acumen, and proven experience in data visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, ensuring clear understanding of goals and deliverables.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for Power BI, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with key stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and business objectives.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to provide meaningful business insights.
  • Develop complex data models, DAX calculations within Power BI and leverage Microsoft Fabric functionality.
  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards/paginated reports to support key business decisions.
  • Monitor performance and usability of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric solutions
  • Provide ongoing support and training for end users on Power BI reporting solutions
  • Guide Power BI super user group with best practices and strategies for visualization and collaboration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau, Qlik).
  • Strong experience in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization techniques.
  • Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from various sources (ERP, CRM, SQL databases, etc.).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying databases and manipulating data.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Data warehouse

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data insights into business terms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to be an excellent team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst, Azure Data Engineer etc.
  • Experience in industries such as Facilities Management, Service or Construction, Finance
